Stand in Skipper Puff opened the bowling with Mr line and length (aka CRS) and himself who both kept things tight as they always do, then on came Oli Lonsdale alongside AJ/Mr Hoops (aka Aza) who bowled beautifully. The batsmen couldn’t read his bowling.
Joey Anderson also kept things tight bowling his trademark leggies.
Raynes Park ended on 198-7.
Opening the batting for Plough we had Suri and The elegant Sean McGurn who got us off to a good start.
Suri was the first wicket to go for a well made 26 and in came chicken shop (aka Hugh Lilburn) playing his majestic way keeping the scoreboard ticking, ending the game with a well constructed 72 not out.
Sean was the next wicket to go for a well made 29 which brought in the danger man, Max (aka Maxy) to finish the game off in style with his six hitting with a quick fire 48* off 27 balls smashing 4 sixes and 2 fours. We chased their total 3 wickets down with 4.4 overs remaining.
We also had the club chairman, Si Carson come watch us on his birthday which was special to give him a win.
