McGurn and Suri open up on a tricky deck the openers dug in but unfortunately Suri fell for 9 off a great seed.
Bring in Hugh “chicken shop” Lilburn and he looked classy from first ball.
We steadied the innings and steered us through to drinks. McGurn out shortly after drinks. Britto to the crease batted nicely but fell to a ball that spat off a length. Max Gun-pert in his typical style smashed an enormous 6 and huge 4 off his first few balls. Chicken shop continued to play a classy innings ably support by our middle order.
Max out at cover and a couple of lbw decisions from the league umpires to canelo and Duray brought CRS to the crease. The two of them batted beautifully and helped us to a very respectable score on a tricky wicket (special mention to Matt Bolshaw who tried to hit every ball for 6)

Let’s go Plough, 217 on the board massively defendable and a bowling attack that would intimate any team (especially the travelling Aussies should they venture down to the DSG for a pre ashes warm up)
Liam Gray on his birthday started bowling hooping away swingers with Puff, and was Grayzer was rightly rewarded with an lbw in his 2nd over.
After 10 overs of unreal swing bowling Duray and Bush enter the Fray.
2 overs of spitting turn from dooza and 8 over straight from Bush wrestled control for the plough. Bush figures of 3/45 off 8 plus a run out were amazing. We should mention here, one or the most outrageous caught and bowleds from Matt Bolshaw. 8 overs on the bounce from CRS were insane he beat edge a million times and was eventually reward with a caught behind and a worldy from Duray at gully. A cheeky over from max Gumpert took a wicket and the win was in sight.
Bring on Canelo, and writhing 10 balls the game was over.
