- 11 very excited handsome Ploughmans arrived well in time and early at the DSG
- The pitch and the square was still very damp/soft but playable. Our oppo Quick Release CC was led by none other than Chris Butlin. Our skipper for game was our Club Chairman Simon Carson.
- Simon won the toss and elected to bat first. Our openers Sean Mcgurn and Hanazala Shafique padded up and they started the innings steady the pitch was two paced and they had to be careful at beginning and slowly grew into the game bit both openers making a strong opening partnership of 106.
- Sean Mcgurn got a very strong and quick 98 runs of 97 balls and came agonisingly close to his first Ploughmans Century. Hanzala Shafique some would say will easily go down as one who loves to bat and made a solid 20 of 71 balls
- Quick fire cameo from Hussain Selmi meant the Ploughmans ended with a strong score of 188.

- The Butlin Brothers started for QR CC and they showed good resilience in the beginning to some good bowling from Trent and Vikki however got their
eye in and went for a strong opening partnership 92
- Chris Butlin scored his first half century against the Ploughmans.
- Simon Carson bowled really well to get rid of Phil Bultin and Fish, wickets in back to back overs.
- Tom Ball & Zaheen Ahmed started their partnership carefully but solid and took the game away from Ploughmans very quickly.
- QR CC won the game with 7 wickets.
- A forgettable day at the end for the Ploughmans on field however the game was played in the right spirits and after the game both teams enjoyed the sunny evening and shared some drinks and stories together at the DSG.
