Skipper Matt Bolshaw had no hesitation in losing the toss and having London Fields put us in to bat. McGun and Andrew ‘Cozzy’ Cosgrove set about building a solid platform, continued by a fine knock of 41 from T. Lonnen at first drop.

Regular contributions down the order got us to a very decent total of 199, a competitive score on a temperamental track. Shout-out to Ean Smith who crashed away his first boundary for the plough - following it up with a highly alpha fist pump to the crowd.

Opening up our reply with the ball - none other than skipper Bush and his partner in crime Matt Spencer, who shared a superb spell of swing bowling to reduce the oppo to 30-3. Spin twins Elmslie & Khan tightened the screw with tidy spells, the Plough looking good at the halfway stage with the London Fields 70 odd for 5.

Enter Bakary Saidi who then proceeded to blow away the middle order with some lovely seam bowling, ending up with a well deserved 3fer. Bowled Baks!
Lonnen and Bush returned to clean things up, the skipper taking the winning catch to go along with his 3 wickets. Hope he’s in your fantasy team.
