Walking into the club house you see Ainslie and Rahul at the bar. Aman sheepishly asks Rahul if he would like a coffee, ‘Nah I will have a beer mate’. You know that is a clear indication that it will be a cracker of a day with the boys!

Rahul in his bucket hat, with a beer in hand moves towards the pitch for the toss. Remember, it is not even noon yet. We are bowling first. Umar and Crano to open up. Umar is bowling a good length outside off. Crano on the other hand is steaming in, targeting the ribs of the batsmen with some devilish in swinging rockets. It is a great watch. In comes at first change, Aman Jain. This bloke for no good reason seems a little agitated. Why wouldn’t you be, if a batsmen named ‘Kambli’ (with a full set of hair) is hitting you above cover for one bounce fours. Aman eventually bowls him and shakes his hand. No one is sure what sort of send off is this. Going forward, Aman is replaced by Chad. Chad comes in with a very vibes based approach, with one ball whizzing past the batsmen’s head and the other clipping the toe nail. He bowls a cracker of a ball to get rid of the oppo skipper for a duck.

To finish things off, we have Rahul and Ajay. They bowl beautifully, cleaning up the tail. Rahul with three wickets and Ajay with two. Vishwa CC finish at 227.

Opening up for Plough is Sean and Cosy. Sean from ball one is batting like a man possessed, hitting anything in his arc for a boundary. Plough are off to a strong start. Cosy falls to an in swinging delivery from their opening quick. In comes Grant Wooledge who looks solid for the six balls he faces before succumbing to a yet another in-swinging delivery. Vishwa is a strong fielding oppo and are loud in the field. The pressure is mounting on the plough batsmen. In comes Ainslie, looking all suave. Sadly, as much as it hurts to put it in the report the man misses a straight one. To his dismay Ajay raises the dreaded finger. At this point, Aman at square leg steams in saying there were two noises. Their is a heated conversation between the oppo skipper and Aman. Sean walks in and takes the role of the diplomat to calm things down. A man of many talents!

Moving ahead, the next bowler for Vishwa is bowling with a somewhat similar action to that of Jasprit Bumrah. He is skidding the ball off the pitch and is making life hard for the Plough batsmen. Wickets are falling left right and Charlie around Sean but he is doing his best to cope with the run rate. Alex at number five is clean bowled of a delivery that stays low. Next in is Umar who plays beautifully for his 26, hitting four fours and taking quick singles with Sean. They both stabilise the innings. Sean, to no ones surprise tons up! He brings up his century and then falls, hitting one straight up in the air. Umar quickly follows. Things are getting heated up in the middle with Ajay and Crano at the crease. Ajay at this moment is basically toying with the bowlers, literally running down the pitch and hitting them for mammoth sixes over long on. Their is a loud cheer from the Plough in the dug out. At the other side Crano continues from where he left off from couple of weeks back at Maida Vale. Just swinging through the line, and tormenting the oppo bowlers. The pair look sublime, bringing up the fifty partnership. Ajay plays a superb on drive to finish the proceedings. We chase the target with 33 deliveries left. Shout out to Sean for his ton, Ajay for his clean hitting and Ainslie for just having the sexiest moustache on planet earth.
