Fellow Ploughman

Hello and welcome to both Old and New players alike for the coming season.

I trust those of you who have been netting for the past few weeks have benefited from your sessions in the nets and are in fine form for the new season ahead and for those who have not netted as yet (including yours truly) are getting ready to blow away the cobwebs in the next few weeks.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind all of you of some important business that is required to enable us to be ready for the new season.

To enable you to play for PCC in the League games you must be registered with the League. Please follow the link www.middlesexchampionship.com where you will find the registration forms, please fill in the appropriate form and send it to our Club Secretary Mr Chris Feeney – 2 Manor Gate, Northolt, Middlesex. Or Email cfeeney@cfeeney.fsnet.co.uk

Only NEW members need to do this. Subscriptions are due in by the end of the March at the reduced rate of £100 which includes a bonus ball this will increase if not paid by then to £125 or buy arrangement with Club Treasurer Mr Spencer Follows who can be contacted by email at spencerfollows@googlemail.com

Pre-season nets will be taking place on the following dates at The Oval and Lords indoor school. The sessions are run on an allocated basis, so please e-mail your availablitlty to Tom Lonnen if you would like to attend.

The Annual General Meeting of Ploughman’s Cricket Club will take place on Saturday 18th October 2008 at 11am at Hammersmith Town Hall, London W6. (map)

All who can are expected to attend. The aim will be to ensure the closure of the meeting by 1.30 p.m.

Any member unable to attend is requested to submit their apologies to Chris Feeney in writing no later than the date of the meeting.
